Cost is $5 to participate in the festival which includes a Glenrowan Wine Region tasting glass, to be used for tastings at each participating winery and a ‘Kelly Gang permit’ to take you to each winery on the trail.
If visitors go to all six wineries and collect a stamp from each one, a ‘pardon ticket’ is issued. All pardon ticket holders will go into a draw for a luxurious weekend break and cases of regional wines. This will be drawn at the Glenrowan Vignerons Association July meeting.
A food and wine festival for everyone
There’s something for everyone in the Glenrowan Wine Region. Six wineries in the region play host to the weekend of ‘Trails, Tastings & Tales’ along Ned Kelly’s old stomping ground in one of Australia’s oldest and most historic wine regions.
Our family-friendly festival offers a more intimate experience than the wine events taking place in the north east region during the Queen’s Birthday weekend and our visitors like that – they can visit all of us in one day, go in the draw to win a luxurious weekend break and cases of our best wine, and then take in all the other great activities the north east offers for the rest of the weekend.”
Trails, Tastings & Tales operates a ‘no coaches’ policy and, of course, there is no BYO of any kind.
